The Olenka river flows from a small lake called Vezr-yavr and falls into the Barents Sea opposite to the island called Bolshoy Oleniy.
The river flows across a high and dissected plateau breaking into the sea. The river valley is mainly V-shaped, 53 km long, with width of 300-500 m, box-shaped, and in the mouth part it widens to 1.5 km. This river is a shallow mountain stream.
The camp by the Olenka River is located at the picturesque river bank among rocks. The camp is for 6 people. Accommodation by two is in log houses.
